Back in aught 2, when digital media was in its infancy and a very scary place, a small group of tech savvy pirates who shared a love for music, new and old, set out to master this dangerous new realm. Their mission was simple: to gather wicked tunes from the farthest reaches and bring it back for all to share. Thus the Super Fantastic CD of the Month Club was born. Mixed CDs were exchanged encapsulating every type of music from every genre and yet to be defined style, meticulously composed into a flow that traverses the entire scope from smooth to jarring, defining a specific mood or environment.

The group grew to over 30 members from all walks of life: artists, designers, writers, musicians, party promoters, nerds, computer guys, social workers, cooks and the president Uruguay. Soon the time had come to share the plunder from the world wide booty chest with the rest of the world. Thus the Super Fantastic Soundsystem was born. And it was good.
