Has always been musically inclined whether it was listening to his dad's James Brown 45's,the piano lessons as a kid or playing in the high school band. Music whatever type was embrassed on all levels.

Was first introduced to underground dance music when a friend lent him a mix tape of the infamous Jumpin Julian Perez Saturday night dance party out of Chicago and it was an infectious reaction. It wasn't long until a high school friend( Jeremey Beckman aka JMK ) invited him over to play on the decks that djing and record collecting became a hobby. Over time during the early 90's, he would attend numerous after hours events across T.O .This would begin a long study of different types of electronic music but as a student it was not easy to support an expensive habbit thus djing took a back seat.

Enter the year 2000 and the story continues ..... purchasing a pair of 12's the fire within is reborn. Recently, Rommel has formed Filltration ( Freddy B, Mel Asprer, Jahan Carluan and Greg Telfer ) a crew that is dedicated at playing from the heart.
