For close to ten years eliot lazor has dedicated his most creative energy to being an emissary of the ever evolving global electronic music scene. Be it deep house sound of the mid to late nineties, the big room sounds of the early 2000s or the most current of electro influenced minimal styles that currently top the underground charts, eliot has worked diligently at Torontos Kops Records to provide the citys top working DJs, both the local and the out of town artists, with quality, innovative and forward thinking dance floor tracks. Recognized by his peers for his uncanny ability to anticipate upcoming trends in electronic music, he is consistently seeking to reinvent Torontos night club music esthetic with boundary pushing, yet accessible DJ friendly records.
During his tenure at Torontos Kops Records, eliot has also come to be known for his skills as a DJ. His desire to create innovative mixes that allow each individual track to come through and reach the audience is what inspires and motivates Eliot. Its about telling a musical story , for me anyway, building a wall of modern visceral sounds helping to captivate the listener and inviting them to come along with me for the ride.
