Dave spent much of the 90's at one party or another swearing that he'd eventually get away from writing cheesy ballads on the piano and make some hard bangin techno. Many years of saying "I gotta get onto that" later, the album Resolute was released in 2004 (thus named because it was that years resolution). Although not hard bangin techno, the release was a very listenable mix of different styles of dance music, which, if anything, gave Dave enough confidence commit to giving live performance a shot.

Very much and adherent to Duke Ellington's words: "There are only two kinds of music: Good and bad", Dave is influenced by music from every genre, so don't be surprised at a live gig if you hear some Hank Williams mixed with Miles Davis mixed with Autecre.
